Cost-effectiveness does not mean cheap. The selection criteria are effectiveness or pleasant use. Choose products with prices that are easily accepted by most people and can withstand long-term continuous use.

L'Oreal Makeup Remover Series (Russian Edition)

Price: RMB 40/ 400ml

In terms of cost-effectiveness, L'Oreal's makeup remover family is the best choice, especially the Russian version, which is so worth it that you can't believe it.

Eucerin Soothing Cleanser

Price: RMB 85/200ml

Surfactant: Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate, Decyl Glucoside

I usually buy this product in batches of 4. One reason is that the warm water and hot cloth method I use consumes too much cleansing volume, and 4 bottles may only last half a year. The other reason is that I really love it. Occasionally, I will try other products and still come back to this one.

It has less cleaning power than general amino acid-based facial cleansers and gently removes grease and dirt. It is not amazing when used alone and it is easy to feel that it is not clean enough.

However, by using the warm water and hot cloth method with a cotton towel, Sanye can remove almost all commuter-related sunscreens (excluding outdoor high-strength waterproof ones). If I only wear light makeup + sunscreen on a daily basis, I won’t use additional makeup remover products at night. I can use this warm water and hot cloth method to completely remove it.

It is more suitable for sensitive skin and desert skin than ordinary amino acids, but it must be used with a cotton towel and a hot cloth with warm water, otherwise it will really feel like a film and be greasy.

I don’t recommend it for people with oily or acne-prone skin. It may not cleanse enough for you and may even cause acne.

L'Oreal Revitalizing Softening Toner

Price: RMB 77/200ml

Active ingredients: glycerin, tocopherol acetate, adenosine, retinol palmitate, ascorbyl glucoside, yeast extract, etc.

This is a toner that is only available in Asia. It can be used as water for dry skin (such as Sanye), and can replace lotion for oily skin. It is both hydrating and moisturizing. When applied, it feels very much like slightly thick water, but there is no feeling of evaporation after application. It is just a moist layer covering the face, which is both hydrating and moisturizing.

A lot of water-based moisturizing ingredients have been added to create the excellent moisturizing effect that Sanye mentioned above, which is moist but not greasy. In addition, skin care ingredients such as adenosine, tocopherol, yeast extract, VC derivatives, VA ester, etc. have been added very conscientiously to provide some antioxidant, anti-aging and whitening effects.

77 yuan is the price that San Ye paid for it at Sunrise Duty Free Shop. I remember that this model is also available in Hong Kong, and the price seems to be 99 Hong Kong dollars. It is not difficult to buy it in these two places. Of course, the most affordable L'Oreal product is also available in Thailand, and the difference is only a few dollars.

As a product priced under 100 yuan, I can't complain more about it in terms of texture, ingredients, or feel of use. In short, just buy it, buy it, you won't suffer a loss or be cheated with 100 yuan.
