Easy solution to dermatitis Daily care rules for people with dermatitis

I believe that everyone knows how common dermatitis is. I believe that many people have suffered from dermatitis. It can be said that almost everyone in a family has suffered from dermatitis.

Easy solution for dermatitis

Solar dermatitis

Also known as solar dermatitis or sunburn, it is mostly caused by exposure to the strong sun in the summer. It is usually caused by excessive sun exposure, which will cause redness, swelling, and even blisters to appear on the exposed area after a few hours. In mild cases, the disease will heal after desquamation in 2 to 3 days, while in severe cases, it may take more than a week, leaving obvious pigmentation after healing. When the disease occurs, you will feel burning, pain, and tenderness.

Prevention: When going out, remember to hold an umbrella, wear a wide-brimmed hat or apply sunscreen.

Treatment: Apply calamine lotion to the affected area, or apply 3% boric acid solution as a wet compress; take anti-allergic drugs such as prednisone orally.

Seborrheic dermatitis

It often occurs in areas with more sebaceous glands, such as the scalp, face, back, armpits, perineum, etc. Initially, there are small grayish white scales or greasy scabs, and the skin underneath has light red spots or needle-sized dark red follicular papules. On the face, it often occurs on the forehead, eyebrows, and nasolabial groove, with scales or yellow crusts.

Prevention: Limit high-fat and high-sugar diets and eat more vegetables.

Treatment: In addition to prevention, take vitamin B2, B6 or vitamin B complex. Hormone preparations can be used as external medications. If Pityrosporum fungi are found, apply miconazole externally, or use compound sulfur lotion or 5% sulfur cream.

Photodermatitis

The disease is caused by contact with photosensitive substances or certain photosensitive drugs. Common photosensitive substances include cosmetics, dyes, and certain topical or oral medications. After contact with these substances and then exposure to sunlight, erythema, papules or eczema-like changes may occur.

Prevention: Avoid contact with photosensitive substances (such as cosmetics) and items that may cause cross-allergies, avoid exposure to strong sunlight, and even avoid contact with fluorescent lamps or reflected light.

Treatment: Symptomatic treatment can be given. In severe cases, prednisone and other antiallergic drugs (such as chlorpheniramine) can be taken, and 3% boric acid or 1:2000 lead acetate solution can be used for cold wet compresses, and then hormone preparations can be applied.

Cosmetic dermatitis

Refers to irritant contact dermatitis and allergic contact dermatitis caused by contact with cosmetics. Lesions such as erythema, edema, papules, and comedones may occur, sometimes accompanied by itching and pigmentation.

Prevention: People with allergic skin should try to avoid contact with cosmetics as much as possible. If they really need to use cosmetics, they should wash them off thoroughly after use.

Treatment: Pay attention to sun protection, antifreeze, and eat more foods rich in vitamin C. If necessary, you can take vitamins E, B6, and C under the guidance of a doctor to help repair damaged skin.

1. Always keep the room clean, open windows for ventilation, maintain appropriate temperature and humidity, and do not use disinfectants casually.

2. Wash and dry clothes, sheets, pillows, quilts, and stuffed toys frequently, and clean the air conditioner's dust net regularly.
