Can acne scars return to normal skin? Having acne scars on your face is a very sad thing. Many people feel inferior because of acne scars. In fact, acne scars can disappear as long as the right method is used. So, let us take a look at it together. Can acne scars return to normal skin? Can return to normal. Acne pits are not obvious if you don't look closely, but if you look closely, you can see that they are shaped like orange peels, with large pores, and there is a pit for each pore, but the pits are relatively small, and the acne pits will not disappear on their own. Why do acne marks turn black? Melanin-producing cells are one of the important components of the skin and belong to glandular cells. They exist in the basal layer of the surface layer and have the function of forming and secreting melanin. Melanocytes mostly appear in mitotic form and have dendritic processes. In the epidermal melanin unit, the dendritic processes of melanocytes penetrate deep into the epidermal keratinocytes and interact with them. On the one hand, keratinocytes receive external stimuli and transmit neurotransmitters through dendrites, which can stimulate melanocytes to secrete more melanin. On the other hand, melanocytes transfer the formed mature melanin to keratinocytes through dendrites. The melanin in the surface keratinocytes exists in two forms: amorphous colloids and melanin granules. The formation process of melanin involves a series of enzyme-catalyzed oxidation reactions. After melanin is produced, there are two main pathways: one is excretion from the kidneys after metabolism in the cells, where it reacts with lysosomal enzymes, undergoes enzymatic hydrolysis, and is then excreted with feces. Another way is through the skin excretion, and melanin is transferred to keratin, moves to the stratum corneum with the growth of the epidermis, and finally falls off with the stratum corneum. Without external stimulation, the melanin secreted by melanocytes will fall off normally during the metabolism process and will not affect the skin color. When exposed to the sun or endocrine changes, the melanin will secrete more melanin due to external stimulation. These melanins cannot be metabolized out in time and will be deposited on the surface of the skin, making the skin darker. If it is only locally precipitated, it will form spots or make the original spots darker. The overall precipitation will bring about an even darkening of the skin color. What is the difference between red acne marks and black acne marks? Acne scars are usually caused by inflammatory acne or closed comedones that cause skin damage due to improper squeezing. When the skin is inflamed, the capillaries will dilate, causing local redness and swelling. Even if the acne disappears, the inflammation will not fade away immediately, so red acne marks will be formed. These inflammatory factors then damage skin tissue, causing melanin deposition. The greater the damage, the more melanin is deposited, and at this time it turns into dark brown acne marks. Therefore, red acne marks are caused by inflammation, and brown acne marks are caused by melanin deposition after inflammation. |
