How to repair, hydrate, calm and reduce inflammation after sunburn during military training

Speaking of military training, it is something that many people have to do when they enter school. During military training, the sun is extremely strong and it is easy to get sunburned. How do you repair a sunburn after military training?

Military training is usually held in September, which is extremely hot. If you stand in the sun for a long time, you will easily get sunburned, and the skin will peel after sunburn. How to repair sunburn from military training?

1. Early maintenance: hydration, calming, and anti-inflammatory

1. Drink plenty of water to keep your body well hydrated. In addition to maintaining the body's internal moisture, sunburned areas also need to be properly hydrated. You can use mild sprays such as Avène and La Roche-Posay to spray on the sunburned area; you can also use mild mineral water such as Evian and Essence to apply to the sunburned area with wet wipes.

2. After hydrating, the next step is to calm the skin. Remember not to use ice packs directly, as this will cause secondary irritation and damage to the skin. It is recommended that girls put the milk in the refrigerator for about half an hour, then take it out and place it on the sunburned area. The cold compress can relieve redness and stinging. Place the brewed green tea leaves or tea bags in the refrigerator for half an hour and then apply them to the sunburned area to have a good anti-inflammatory and sedative effect.

3. Oral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin or ibuprofen can help reduce edema and pain.

2. Mid-term maintenance - care and maintenance

1. Pay attention to bathing: Use cold water and hypoallergenic soap when cleaning, and avoid scratching the skin. If you take a shower, avoid letting the water jet spray directly onto the injured skin.

2. Wear comfortable clothes: Do not wear any clothes that may irritate the skin. Wool and synthetic materials should be avoided temporarily until the injury is healed.

3. Sunburned skin will mostly be drier. For dry skin, you can simply use protective oils and lipid-containing creams to solve the problem. For oily skin, it is more difficult. You can consider using a more concentrated glycerin, apply it in the bathroom for fifteen minutes, and then wash it off.

3. Post-maintenance: whitening and sun protection

The chance of sunburned skin not turning darker is zero. All we can do is to whiten the darkened skin as soon as possible.

1. For oral use, you can buy whitening pills produced by regular brands and manufacturers to prevent melanin deposition and improve skin brightness.

2. For external use, you can use products with high concentrations of niacinamide or vitamin C. If you do not experience allergies after trying them, you can apply large doses.

3. Sun protection measures need to be more comprehensive. Try to avoid going out in weather and time periods when the sun is too strong. Choose high-factor sunscreen and use a parasol to prevent injured skin from being attacked by ultraviolet rays again.

This is an introduction to the methods of repairing sunburn. If you have a fever, these methods will not work and you should go to the hospital directly.
