Are light-colored contact lenses suitable for daily use? Can they be soaked in water?

There are many materials and colors to choose from for cosmetic contact lenses. Are light-colored contact lenses suitable for daily use? Can cosmetic contact lenses be soaked in water?

Are light-colored contact lenses suitable for daily use?

Very godless and not suitable for daily life. Light-colored contact lenses are not suitable for daily use, but are more suitable for girls who pursue alternative styles or girls who do cosplay. Generally speaking, cosmetic contact lenses are a mix of light and dark colors, such as purple, blue, green and multiple colors, which can give people a "stunning" feeling when worn. Light colors generally include white, goose yellow, light pink, fruit green, light blue, lavender, etc. The beauty industry generally calls transition colors that are lighter than the original color light colors.

Can you use water to soak your contact lenses?

If there is no contact lens care solution, you can use boiled water to soak the contact lenses, or don’t take them off first. Because the main function of the care solution is to disinfect and remove protein from contact lenses, and boiled water is water that has been sterilized at high temperature. Although boiled water does not have the function of disinfecting and removing protein from contact lenses, it will not allow bacteria in the water to contaminate contact lenses. Contact lens care solution cannot be replaced by unsterilized water, such as tap water, because unsterilized water contains a large number of microorganisms and bacteria, so wearing contact lenses that have been soaked in water is prone to inflammation. Eye drops, purified water and saline can be temporary substitutes for care solution. Since these temporary substitutes are sterile and bacteria-free, using them will not further contaminate the contact lenses. However, the contact lenses soaked in them must be cleaned, soaked and disinfected with care solution the next day before they can be used. This is because neither eye drops, purified water nor saline can disinfect or remove protein from the contact lenses. They can only prevent them from drying out temporarily.

I think you all understand that light-colored contact lenses are not suitable for daily use.
