How to determine your skin type

Human skin can generally be divided into dry, neutral, oily, combination and sensitive types. Let's take a look at the characteristics of various skin types. The editor will teach you how to judge your skin type, so that your beauty and skin care knowledge will become more and more powerful.

Dry Skin:

The pores are small, and there are rarely acnes. The skin is tight, fragile, and dull. It is difficult to apply makeup and it is easy to peel, especially on the cheeks. It is very sensitive to sunlight and cold, rarely tans, and is easy to sunburn. Wrinkles appear early around the eyes, lips, and forehead.

Normal skin:

The skin is delicate, the skin tone is even, there are no acne, the skin is clean and tender, easy to apply makeup, not easy to remove makeup, no oily or dry scars, not too sensitive to sunlight, will tan, and sometimes sunburn.

Oily Skin:

Large pores, oily face with more obvious T-zone, common acne, soft skin, few wrinkles, makeup comes off easily, tans easily, but not easily sunburned.

There are three types of combination skin:

1. The T-zone is oily, the pores are enlarged, and acne is common. The skin on the cheeks is clean and tender, with few acne, delicate skin texture and even skin tone. This is the most common type of combination skin.

2. There is less oil and acne in the T-zone, the pores on the cheeks are very small, there are very few acne, and wrinkles and fine lines are prone to appear.

3. The T-zone is oily, with large pores, common acne and a greasy feel. The skin on the cheeks has small pores, fewer pimples, is easy to peel, has tight skin, and has wrinkles and fine lines. It is a relatively rare type of combination skin.

Sensitive Skin:

The skin's stratum corneum is thin, and the face will flush or have red bloodshot when exposed to cold or heat, and may have acne or spots from time to time. These are mainly caused by the thin stratum corneum and the reduced skin's resistance.

Sensitive skin and dry skin are most likely to have problems in spring and autumn when the temperature and environment change unpredictably. Medium-dry skin is most likely to become sensitive, while oily and dehydrated skin is also likely to become sensitive.
