Let’s talk about the smell of the mask first. The peach blossom mask has a fresh fragrance, which is different from the light herbal smell of the leaf mask. I don’t know if it is the scent of peach blossom. I am not very sensitive to fragrance, but the smell of the peach blossom mask is very familiar, but I can’t remember what it smells like. The peach blossom mask contains 2 peach blossoms, which are different from the leaf mask which has 4 leaves, two large and two small. They are all made of mask paper and contain 6 ml of essence. Just stick it on the area you want to strengthen.

Of the 4 leaves in the leaf mask, I put two small leaves on my nasolabial folds, one large leaf on my forehead, and another on my chin. The two peach blossoms on the peach blossom mask are slightly larger in area, so they are most suitable for applying to the left and right cheeks. ▶️In this regard, it is not as flexible as the leaf.

After applying the peach blossoms, apply the mask. The mask contains 25ml of essence. The two facial mask papers are different: the leaf mask paper is thinner and has a looser structure, which means it is easier to pull and deform; the peach blossom mask paper is thicker and has a more solid texture, which is relatively less likely to be pulled and deformed.

After removing the mask, the amount of unabsorbed essence on the face is less than that of the leaves. After it is completely absorbed by massage, continue to rub it without any mud-rubbing phenomenon (for details about mud-rubbing, please refer to the notes about the leaves written earlier).

After cleaning and drying my face, I applied subsequent skin care products after a few minutes. The skin was still moisturized and the moisturizing effects of both products were OK.

I forgot to mention that the essences of both masks are in transparent gel form, but the essence of the Peach Blossom Mask will turn milky white after rubbing. The milky white color on the grid in Figure 4 is when I used it to wipe my arms and found that the essence turned milky white.

Overall, the moisturizing effects of both masks are good, and peach blossoms are relatively easier to absorb than leaves. It is recommended to wash both masks after use, especially the leaf mask. If used in autumn and winter, you don’t need to wash it off, but my personal habit is to wash it before skin care. Anyway, the leaves must be washed. Whether to wash the peach blossoms in autumn and winter is up to you. This depends on your habits.

Apart from some differences in the mask paper and the feeling of use, there is not much difference in the effects of the two masks. They can only be used for daily moisturizing, and there is no feeling of other repairing effects. I personally will not repurchase because they are too basic.

In terms of cost-effectiveness, there are ten pieces in a box of Leaf and five pieces in a box of Peach Blossom. The unit price of Peach Blossom is higher. If you only need basic moisturizing, it is more economical to choose Leaf. But for acne-prone and oily skin, Peach Blossom feels better to use because it is more absorbent and there won’t be too much stickiness on the face.
