SWISS PERFECTION (formerly known as Perfini), a high-end skincare brand known as Switzerland's top luxury brand, has officially entered the high-end retail market in mainland China.


The brand plans to open a high-end online platform and enter high-end hotel SPAs and duty-free shops to consolidate its position as a high-end skincare brand.


On the 1st of this month, SWISS PERFECTION opened its official flagship store on Tmall Luxury Pavilion, officially announcing its entry into the Chinese high-end market.


Tmall Luxury Pavilion is an important strategic deployment of Alibaba in its luxury e-commerce layout. It was launched in 2017 and is committed to providing the best luxury online platform for VIP customers. The Tmall luxury platform implements a brand-oriented invitation system and is open to limited brands. Currently, in addition to SWISS PERFECTION, there are only more than 200 brands such as Gucci, Cartier, Chanel Beauty and La Mer.


Tmall Luxury Products’ sales grew rapidly in the first quarter of this year (January to March 2021), up 159% year-on-year. In addition, Tmall has approximately 770 million members as potential customers, so there is great potential for future growth.


SWISS PERFECTION will cooperate with Baozun e-commerce operation company, which ranks first in sales on Tmall, and let it be responsible for its distribution business in mainland China. Baozun is China's largest e-commerce solution company and is currently responsible for the distribution and operation of luxury brands such as Gucci beauty and Burberry on Tmall Luxury.


At the same time as the opening of the SWISS PERFECTION official flagship store on Tmall, the brand will also actively enter five-star hotels and duty-free shops in China's first-tier cities.


At the end of this month, SWISS PERFECTION will open its doors at the Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen SPA. In the second half of this year, it will open its doors at four other hotel SPAs, including the Four Seasons Hotel and Bulgari Hotel in Beijing and Shanghai, to expand its communication and contact with Chinese consumers.


In addition, Hainan Duty Free Shop has recently benefited from the Chinese government's policy of supporting duty-free shopping. Brands are also actively promoting plans to enter Hainan Duty Free Shop, and will open counters as early as September this year.


SWISS PERFECTION will use the brand's core technology - the plant cell regeneration complex active ingredient "Cellular Active IRISA®" to carry out a full range of online and offline marketing activities to sweep the Chinese high-end skincare market.
