How are men's freckles formed? Should I use an oil-control facial cleanser?

Men generally do not use skin care products and feel that their skin is super resistant. So how do men's freckles form? Should men use oil-control facial cleanser?

How do men's freckles form?

1. Genetic factors

This is the most common type of freckles in men, but it is not necessarily inherited from your parents, it may also be inherited from the previous generation. Generally speaking, freckles appear mostly on the faces of men with lighter skin.

2. Wind and sun

Freckles are formed due to the deposition of melanin in the body. When the skin is exposed to ultraviolet rays in the sun, it stimulates the subcutaneous pigment cells to become active. On the other hand, it damages the normal metabolic function of the cells, making it impossible for melanin to be eliminated from the skin. Melanin floats on the surface of the skin, forming freckles.

3. Abnormal pigment metabolism

Under normal circumstances, adrenal cortex hormone can reduce melanin by inhibiting the secretion of MSH by the pituitary gland. If a person has low adrenal cortex function, pigmentation will form freckles.

4. Irregular work and rest schedule

Men who often stay up late and have irregular lifestyles will have their blood circulation slowed down due to decreased sleep quality, and their skin metabolism will deteriorate, leading to the formation of freckles.

5. Dietary factors

Foods containing tyrosine will be converted into dihydroxyphenylamine by enzymes in the body and then oxidized, eventually polymerizing into melanin and producing freckles. Such as: cheese, black sesame, peanuts, walnuts, etc.

6. Endocrine disorders

Endocrine disorders are not only the cause of freckles in women, but also an important factor in the formation of freckles in men. During male puberty, changes in sex hormone levels in the body can affect the formation of freckles.

7. Inadequate skin cleansing

If the daily cleansing process is not done properly, the garbage, harmful substances and melanin in the skin cannot be excreted from the body with the normal metabolism, resulting in dull face, pigmentation and formation of freckles.
