We all think that sunscreen products are generally greasy and can easily clog pores, so when we get acne, we refuse to use sunscreen. In fact, most of us who have this misunderstanding are because we have not chosen the right sunscreen product.

Acne-prone skin often becomes more inflamed due to improper choice of sunscreen products. However, if acne-prone skin does not use sunscreen products with a sufficient factor, it is more likely to tan, sunburn, increase acne, become more inflamed, and even have larger pores under the stimulation of ultraviolet rays. Therefore, people with acne-prone skin should never refuse sunscreen products.

Acne-prone skin: When choosing sunscreen products, you should give priority to: purely physical oil-free sunscreens, water-based formulations with strong penetration, and avoid choosing products containing ingredients such as PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid). Myth 2: If you have acne-prone skin and don’t wear makeup, you don’t need makeup remover!

We don’t wear makeup in the morning and skip removing makeup at night. In fact, this is a very wrong practice!

Especially for acne-prone skin, makeup removal every night should never be skipped, regardless of whether you are wearing no makeup or not. The reason why you cannot skip the makeup removal process even if you don’t wear makeup is that many sunscreens are waterproof and sweat-proof, or have moisturizing functions, and these ingredients can only be completely removed with makeup removers.
