A comparison of high- and low-priced amino acid cleansers

Hello everyone, today I want to talk to you about the most basic and most underestimated step in skin care - cleansing. I know that everyone spends a lot of money on essences and creams, but do you really understand the difference between facial cleansers? Have you really chosen the right facial cleanser? Adhering to the principle of conscientious planting, we will teach you how to simply distinguish the differences between them based on the ingredients. If you don’t have the patience to read, just scroll to the end of the article to see the product recommendations.

Amino Acid Cleanser

Facial cleansers on the market can be roughly divided into two categories: amino acid & soap base.

Amino Acids

pH: Acidic (human skin is acidic)

Applicable skin types: dry, neutral, sensitive skin, oily skin can be used during the day

How to distinguish: Amino acid surfactant appears in the ingredient list and is located at the front of the ingredient list

Amino acid surfactants: "sodium cocoyl glycinate" or "potassium cocoyl glycinate", such as potassium cocoyl glycinate

Soap base

Acidity: Alkaline

Applicable skin types: healthy skin, oily skin

How to distinguish: fatty acids and alkalis appear at the same time

Fatty acids include: stearic acid, myristic acid, lauric acid, palmitic acid, etc.

Alkali includes: sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, etc.

Although soap-based facial cleansers are suitable for healthy skin and oily skin, I recommend that these people do not use them frequently . Once or twice a week is enough, and it is best to use them at night.

Because human skin is acidic, and soap-based facial cleansers are just the opposite, long-term use will damage the skin barrier, thin the stratum corneum, make the skin sensitive, and make the skin more oily due to lack of water.
