Should I squeeze a mature pimple? Will a mature pimple fall off naturally or should I squeeze it?

It is very uncomfortable to have pimples on the face, and some people can't help but squeeze them. So, when should you squeeze pimples? Should I squeeze mature pimples? When pimples mature, do they fall off naturally or do they need to be squeezed?

Should I squeeze the pimples when they are mature?

If the pimple is ripe and is not accompanied by swelling or pain, you can use a disinfected acne needle and gently squeeze it out to promote the healing of the pimple. However, if the pimple is not yet mature and is accompanied by local redness, swelling and pain, it is not recommended to squeeze it, as it will cause the inflammation to spread and aggravate the condition.

Signs of mature acne

Just like fruits become soft as they ripen, pimples also develop their own characteristics as they mature. If you can see a white patch at the tip of your pimple with your naked eyes, then it is semi-mature and you should not squeeze it. If the pimple has an obvious white granular protrusion and it feels hard when you touch it lightly with your hand, then it is "mature" and you can prepare to squeeze it.

When pimples mature, do they fall off naturally or do they need to be squeezed?

It depends. When acne matures, mild acne will slowly absorb on its own and then disappear, but severe acne will require the sebum in the acne to be peeled out with a sterile needle. Of course, it is not recommended to squeeze pimples yourself, so as to avoid greater harm due to improper techniques. Because if you don't judge well and squeeze it properly, it may form a boil, which will stimulate and aggravate the inflammation of the surrounding area. So don't squeeze it easily. I don't recommend squeezing pimples yourself.

The dangers of popping pimples

1. Acne pits are easily formed. Frequent squeezing of pimples can easily lead to the formation of acne pits on the skin, which makes the skin appear uneven and very ugly. This is because when you squeeze pimples, the surrounding skin is damaged, and excessive pressure can easily cause the surrounding connective tissue to deform, which can easily lose elasticity over time. In addition, improper squeezing will cause the spread of skin inflammation, making it impossible for the skin to regain its normal elasticity after repair, resulting in acne pits.

2. It can easily cause scars. Frequent squeezing of pimples can easily lead to acne marks on the face. This is because when squeezing pimples, the skin tissue is subjected to greater external force and becomes deformed or congested, which can easily lead to scars on the skin. If you use your hands to uncover the scar after it has formed, it will cause more serious damage to the skin.

3. Cause pigmentation. Frequent squeezing of pimples can easily lead to pigmentation, spots on the face, acne marks, etc. This is because squeezing pimples causes pigmentation due to residual inflammation on the facial skin.

4. Secondary sebaceous gland inflammation. Squeezing pimples can cause local skin damage, reduce the skin's resistance to bacteria and easily cause secondary sebaceous gland inflammation, which will continue to worsen until it forms a suppurative sebaceous gland inflammation. This ultimately leads to varying degrees of damage to the skin tissue.

5. Large pores. Squeezing pimples can easily cause your skin to become rough and your pores to become enlarged. This is because when you squeeze pimples with your hands, the skin tissue is stimulated by greater external force and easily loses elasticity, and the skin pores tend to become larger. Especially if you do not shrink the pores after squeezing the pimples, it is more likely to cause enlarged pores.
