How to reduce oily T-zone after makeup

Many women like to put on makeup, which can make them more beautiful. But what should they do if their T-zone becomes oily after putting on makeup? How to reduce oiliness in the T-zone after applying makeup?

What to do if your T-zone becomes oily after applying makeup

Step 1: Cleaning

When the T-zone becomes oily after applying makeup, the first step is undoubtedly "cleaning", but this cleansing is not washing the face, but simply cleaning the oil in the T-zone. Washing your face with facial cleanser or water is not realistic and can easily damage your original makeup. What we need to use here is oil-absorbing paper.

Specific method: Take a clean piece of oil-absorbing paper and press it on the T-zone. If you start from the forehead, press the oil-absorbing paper on the forehead first, smooth it with your fingers so that it can better fit the skin, and then gently peel it off. Repeat this action until all the oil in the T-zone is cleaned. (Note that you cannot wipe your skin directly with oil-absorbing paper, as this will damage your skin.)

Step 2: Hydrate and moisturize

Oil-absorbing paper can help us absorb all the oil on our face, including the oil that is beneficial to the skin. We must know that proper oil has a certain protective effect on the skin. Therefore, after absorbing the oil, we need to hydrate and moisturize the skin to increase the skin's moisture and protection. What we need to use here is a moisturizing spray. (Toner will work too, but it needs to be put in a spray bottle.)

Specific method: Place the moisturizing spray 15-20 cm away from the face and at a 45-degree angle, tilt your head slightly, press the nozzle to allow the face to be exposed to as much moisture as possible. After spraying, use the fingertips of both hands to pat the entire face like playing the piano to help the skin absorb better. After patting, if there is still excess moisture on the face that has not been absorbed, you need to press the face with a clean tissue to prevent the moisture from drying naturally.

Step 3: Touch up

After oil secretion, oil absorption, and hydration, the facial makeup is affected to some extent. Therefore, we need to re-apply makeup to restore the original makeup. If you want to re-apply makeup, it is recommended to use pressed powder. Pressed powder has good covering, adhesion, spreading, coloring, and modification functions. At the same time, because of its special matte texture, it can absorb facial oil well and help cool the skin.

Specific method: Open the powder box, use the powder puff that comes with it, take a small amount of powder, and gently pat it to apply to the entire face. Note that it is a patting technique, not applying it directly, otherwise it is easy to leave powder traces. In addition, the powder puff of the powder can easily be stained with too much powder. If too much powder is applied, the entire makeup will become very thick and unnatural. Therefore, when applying, be careful to take small amounts multiple times, and don't take too much at once.

Step 4: Set your makeup

After using the powder, the makeup has basically been restored, but the biggest function of the powder is to modify and restore. If you want the makeup to last for a long time, you still need to use loose powder for the final setting. Loose powder contains fine talcum powder, which can absorb oil very well and keep the makeup for a long time without easy to come off.

Specific method: Use a loose powder puff, dip a small amount of loose powder on it, and gently pat it on the face. Be sure to pat it evenly and apply it multiple times in small amounts.

How to reduce oiliness in the t-zone with makeup

1. Before applying makeup, be sure to clean your skin thoroughly and leave no grease or dirt, otherwise your skin will easily become oily after applying makeup.

2. Before putting on makeup, you need to take good care of your skin, apply lotion, cream and other skin care products, and it would be best if you can also apply a hydrating mask. When the skin produces more oil, it means that the water and oil balance in the skin is unbalanced, so the skin needs to be moisturized.

3. Use foundation products that absorb sweat and control oil.

4. Applying loose powder, honey powder and other setting products after foundation can effectively reduce oiliness of the skin.
