Is it good to use a face cleansing brush to wash your face? What skin types are suitable for face cleansing brushes?

A face cleansing brush is a tool for cleaning facial skin, but many people still don’t know much about this tool. So is it good to use a face cleansing brush to wash your face? What skin types are suitable for face cleansing brushes?

Is it good to wash your face with a face brush?

Washing your face with a face brush is certainly not good for your skin. Because the skin on our face is relatively delicate and is often in a relatively exposed state, if it is exposed to stimulation such as a face cleansing brush under such conditions, it will cause skin damage.

What skin type is the face cleansing brush suitable for?

1. Aging skin with thick stratum corneum, real acne skin, T-zone of mixed skin, oily skin without barrier damage can use a facial cleansing brush. Exfoliation and cleansing can make the skin smoother and more delicate. It will also improve whiteheads in the T-zone (it is less effective for blackheads because blackheads contain many hairs and are deep in the skin, so they cannot be brushed out with a brush). Considering the skin's renewal cycle, there is no need to use it too frequently. I think using it once or twice a week is enough.

2. It is not recommended to use a facial cleansing brush for sensitive skin, inflammatory skin, or dry skin. This type of skin has a damaged skin barrier, lacks a sebum membrane, has a thin stratum corneum, and lacks lipids between stratum corneum cells. What it needs is protection, not X times more cleaning. This powerful cleansing and exfoliating function can aggravate the damage to the barrier and dilate the capillaries. More than once, people have reported to me that their skin became stinging, red, and damaged after using a cleansing brush.

3. For normal skin and neutral skin, it is optional to use it. It is better not to use it and use it less often. I don't recommend exfoliating intentionally. Not only cleansing devices, but also cotton pads, peel-off masks, wet wipes, fruit acids, etc., I don't recommend using them. If you feel that your life is not high-end and classy if you don't buy a face cleansing brush, then it's okay to buy one. Use it occasionally and don't let it hurt your skin.

It is better not to use a face cleansing brush to wash your face frequently, and it is not suitable for people with all skin types.
