How to use toner? Introduction to the correct use of toner

Today I will teach you how to use toner. Many people use toner incorrectly. If you don’t know yet, come learn with me.

How to use toner?

Lotions and lotions don’t necessarily work as soon as you use them. There are certain considerations on how to use them and how much to use. Only by paying attention to everything can you achieve twice the result with half the effort in skin care!

First of all, we need to understand the role of toner. It is an essential beauty partner for the skin. While hydrating the skin, it can also cleanse the skin to restore the acid-base value of the skin surface and prepare for subsequent maintenance.

So, how can we use toner correctly? Please continue reading.

The first and most correct way to use

Wiping method: 1. Pour the lotion onto the cotton pad and allow it to be fully absorbed. 2. Wipe along the skin texture from inside to outside to avoid excessive pulling on the skin and causing fine lines. 3. The forehead and nose secrete more oil, so the wiping time can be extended appropriately.

Patting method: 1. Pour the lotion onto the cotton pad first. 2. Apply the toner on your face by patting. 3. Pat all parts of the face thoroughly to help the absorption of lotion.

The second most needed usage time

The first thing, of course, is that after you wake up in the morning, your body, which has not been replenished with water all night, will not care about your "face", so of course you have to do it yourself. The second time is 1 p.m., when the air is the driest in the day. After being tortured by computers, air conditioners or the sun for several hours, it is a luxury to expect that the exposed skin will not be dry.

The third and biggest misunderstanding - is toner the same as skin softener?

There is actually not much difference between toner and softener. The only difference is that toner is more suitable for use in hot weather when the face is more oily, while softener is more suitable for use in dry seasons. In fact, the difference is that one is more moisturizing and the other is more oil-controlling. Girls can choose according to their skin conditions. For example, if you have oily skin, you can choose toner, and if you have dry skin, you can choose softener.

The fourth method to fully utilize the efficacy

Use toner, paper mask and freezing for "ice therapy" to shrink pores, control oil and prevent blackheads.

Find a clean small plate, put a piece of paper film in it, slowly pour in toner (the paper film will slowly expand as it absorbs water), and after the paper film absorbs enough water, put the plate in the refrigerator (3 minutes in the freezer/8 minutes in the refrigerator). When the time is up, take out the plate, unfold the frozen paper mask, put it on your face, note the time, lie down quietly, after 15 minutes, remove the paper mask, and gently pat the toner that has not been absorbed on your face until it is completely absorbed.

Note: for shrinking pores and controlling oil, do it continuously for 7-10 days first, then do it 1-2 times a week; for whitening and moisturizing, do it continuously for 5-7 days first, then do it 1-2 times a week. In winter, the time it is kept in the refrigerator can be shortened, or it can be left there at all. However, if you want to shrink your pores, it must be refrigerated before use regardless of the season!

The fifth most important technique to stick to

After cleansing and before applying the mask, you should first apply a layer of toner as a base, which can enhance the penetration and absorption of nutrients, thereby making the effect more effective. Who doesn’t know that toner helps with nutrient absorption?

The second topic is of course lotion.

The biggest feature of lotion as a skin care product is its high water content, which can instantly moisturize the skin and replenish moisture for dry skin. Adding lotion can form a thin and breathable protective film on the skin surface, which can prevent moisture loss and achieve excellent moisturizing effect. Therefore, compared with purely hydrating lotions, lotions are more suitable for use in dry seasons.

In addition, the oil in the lotion is more moisturizing than water. So whether your skin is dry and lacks water, or dry and lacks oil, lotion is a good choice.
