How to judge skin type? If you can't tell skin type, what's the point of talking about skin care?

Many friends often ask in the background: What is the correct order of skin care? As an editor who always responds to requests, of course I will write an article to answer everyone’s questions! But before talking about skin care steps, let’s first figure out what your skin type is?

How to judge skin quality

There are many ways to test your skin type. The best way is of course to go to a hospital or a regular beauty institution for an examination. It can not only check your skin type, but also check the deep problems of your skin, such as wrinkles, pores, spots, red blood vessels, moisture, oil, etc. Without this condition, we can also do some simpler tests. For example, pay more attention to the oiliness of your skin in the afternoon and evening.

Characteristics of different skin types:

1. Normal skin

Characteristics: Neutral skin is characterized by moderate moisture and oil content, smooth, tender, soft and elastic skin, rosy and shiny, small pores and no blemishes. It is the most ideal skin.

Pros: It doesn’t feel tight, dry or oily, which is the best skin type.

Disadvantages: None.

2. Dry skin:

Characteristics: It is easy to feel tight, dry face, and may have dandruff. Dry skin usually has thin cuticles and is prone to developing spots on the face. But the pores on my face are relatively fine.

Advantages: Less acne and smaller pores on face.

Disadvantages: prone to spots, skin is more prone to fine lines, wrinkles and aging.

3. Oily skin:

Features: The whole face tends to be oily, with enlarged pores, etc. Usually there will be skin problems such as dull skin tone, large pores, and possibly closed comedones.

Advantages: durable, not prone to sensitivity, thicker stratum corneum, oily skin is less likely to age than dry skin.

Disadvantages: prone to acne and blackheads.

4. Combination skin:

Features: The T-zone feels very oily, and the cheeks feel very dry

Advantages: As durable as oily skin, not prone to allergies and skin problems

Disadvantages: Because there seem to be two skin types on the face, skin care needs to be divided into different areas for different purposes. The T-zone is prone to oiliness and blackheads.

5. Sensitive skin:

Features: The face easily turns red, and the face feels uncomfortable and tight

Advantages: No advantages

Disadvantages: prone to sensitivity, redness and itching.
