This is because there is a substance called methyl perfluoroisobutyl ether (MTBE) in it. This substance has a very low boiling point, so it produces gas and causes foam.

However, this substance carries certain risks. It can cause water pollution and is also toxic. When I discovered this, I stopped using it. Because I think it's not necessary to take this risk just for such a little gimmick. Anyway, I have used the extremely runny cleansing foam before and it can also generate bubbles on its own, and it generates bubbles through physical means, which is safer.

3. Freeplus Cleansing Foam

Finally I’m introducing my favorite facial cleanser, Freeplus! The cleaning power seems to be a little lower than that of Jirun, but it is much gentler than Jirun and has no side effects at all. The ingredients are also very good, without any fragrance or preservatives, but there is a little bit of niacinamide. However, since it will be washed off, it will not be a problem for sensitive skin. I use it together with the Big Grape one, using Big Grape during the day and Freeplus at night. If I feel it's not clean enough, I'll wash it again.
