Can I check in sunscreen spray?

Sunscreen spray can be checked in. Generally, sunscreen spray is divided into 100ml capacity and above 100ml capacity. According to regulations, passengers are not allowed to carry personal cosmetics with a single bottle capacity equal to or exceeding 100ml in their carry-on luggage. Therefore, sunscreen sprays with a capacity of ≥100ml need to be checked in and can only be checked in.

What are the items that cannot be checked in?

① Valuables: laptops, cash, credit cards, jewelry

② Urgent items: passport, ID card, medicine, business documents

The above items should be carried on your person or placed in a carry-on baggage that can be placed under the seat. The airline shall bear the compensation liability for the loss or damage of the above-mentioned items in checked baggage in accordance with the general checked baggage.

③Power bank: must be carried with you, not checked baggage

What items are not allowed to be brought with you?

1. Various knives (including hunting knives, swords and pocket knives)

2. Scissors and any other sharp/bladed objects deemed illegal by local law (e.g. ice picks, nail clippers)

3. Weapons, such as whips, nunchakus, batons or stun guns

4. Handcuffs

5. Sports equipment, such as baseball/cricket bats, golf clubs, hockey sticks, pool cues

6. Sprays (hair spray, perfume, alcohol-containing medicines), each item shall not exceed 0.5 kg/L, and the total weight shall not exceed 2.0 kg/L. The spray nozzle must be tightly covered with a cap or protected in other ways to avoid accidental compression, which may cause the contents to spill.

The above items are not allowed to be carried on board. According to the safety regulations of different countries and airlines, the above items may not be returned if they are not checked in.

9. Devices that inhibit movement, such as devices containing irritants such as cardamom spice or pepper spray

10. Highly toxic drugs, such as arsenic, cyanide or pesticides

11. Radioactive Materials

12. Corrosive substances, such as mercury (which may be contained in thermometers or blood pressure gauges), acids, alkalis, and wet batteries

13. Prepared food

14. Firearms/gun parts, such as revolvers, rifles, model guns, bullets, barrels, triggers, etc.

15. Ammunition, including blanks, used magazines or empty magazines

16. Any other substances that may cause danger during flight, such as magnetized, offensive or irritating substances.
