Normal skin pH <7

Normal skin is an ideal healthy skin. Sebum and water secretion is moderate and always in balance.

The skin is of moderate thickness, moisturized and smooth, with fine texture, and the complexion is rosy and elastic. It has no rough or sticky feeling, is not very sensitive to external stimuli, and is relatively sun-resistant. (mostly seen in pre-pubertal boys and girls, infants and young children, and well-maintained people)

Oily skin PH<7 (acidic)

The sebaceous glands and sweat glands are particularly developed, and a lot of oil is secreted.

It is susceptible to bacterial infection and easily absorbs dust in the air, causing the pores to become polluted.

Prone to acne and enlarged pores.

They have weak resistance to bacteria and are prone to acne and sores.

Makeup is easy to come off after application.

Oily skin is more common in people between the ages of puberty and 25.

How to identify oiliness

Simple oily skin is characterized by a shiny face and enlarged pores, but no other symptoms.

Oily, dehydrated skin is characterized by an imbalance of water and oil, inability to retain moisture, and often feels oily on the outside and dry on the inside. In severe cases, there is also peeling.

The skin of acne is characterized by less obvious oiliness and pores, and only a few pimples.

Oily acne skin is characterized by a shiny face, enlarged pores, and a large number of acne breakouts.

Combination skin

Combination skin is more common in people between the ages of 25 and 35. The forehead, nose, and chin, which is the T-zone on the face, are oily skin, while the cheeks and area around the eyes are dry skin.

Combination dry skin: The T-zone is oily, while the cheeks are dry and tight.

Combination skin: The T-zone is oily, while the cheeks are neither dry nor oily.

Dry skin pH <7 (alkaline)

Lack of water:

The stratum corneum on the surface of the skin contains too little water and has fine wrinkles.

The skin is thin, and even the capillaries are visible. It feels rough to the touch, has smooth texture and small pores.

Dehydrated dry skin is more common in people over 35 years old and the elderly.

Oil shortage:

The sebaceous glands do not function properly and cannot produce sebum to lubricate the skin.

The skin has poor elasticity, lacks luster, and is prone to fine wrinkles.

Oil-deficient dry skin is more common in young people.

Internal factors:

It is related to congenital weak sebaceous gland activity, acquired decline in sebaceous gland and sweat gland activity, vitamin A deficiency, preference for low-fat foods, decreased secretion of related hormones, malnutrition of skin blood circulation, fatigue, etc.

External factors:

It is related to exposure to the sun, cold wind, unclean skin, indiscriminate use of cosmetics, washing the face or taking a bath too often.

Sensitive skin

The skin is thin and delicate, but there is also special sensitive skin that appears rough. It is very sensitive to external stimuli, and sometimes erythema, desquamation, redness and swelling can be seen. Even dilated capillaries can be seen under the skin.

It has poor adaptability to seasonal climate changes, and will experience itchy skin and rashes when exposed to changes in temperature, wind, or sunlight. Weak resistance to ultraviolet rays.

Prone to allergies to food, medicine and cosmetics.
