Good hand care is not just about hand cream

Good hand care is not just about hand cream

A good hand care method is not just about hand cream, daily care is also very important.

Good hand protection method

1. Avoid direct contact with detergents and other chemicals

In the cold autumn and winter seasons, when girls are preparing to do housework, they should choose a pair of thick cotton waterproof gloves to protect their hands from the damage of detergents and other chemicals.

The degreasing effect of dishwashing detergent can cause great damage to the skin. When washing away the grease from the dishes, the oil that protects your hands will also be washed away, making your skin sensitive and fragile, and occasionally causing itchiness and allergic reactions.

Among the dishwashing liquids sold on the market, alkaline dishwashing liquids are more irritating than neutral dishwashing liquids. Most types of dishwashing liquids contain a surfactant called sulfonic acid. This highly irritating compound can be absorbed through the skin and cause irreversible damage to the hands.

2. Hand massage after cold exposure

If you stay outside for a long time in autumn and winter, thin gloves cannot protect your hands, and your fingers will be frozen red. In this case, you cannot put your hands directly into hot water, as the sudden increase in temperature may damage your blood vessels.

The correct steps are: rub your hands to warm them up first, massage every corner of your hands carefully, let your hands slowly warm up, then soak your hands in warm water for 2 to 3 minutes, wash them and apply hand cream. If severe peeling, frostbite or chapped skin occurs, you can go to a nearby hospital for treatment. Do not apply ointments or hand creams at home without permission, as this can easily cause infection.

3. Apply hand cream regularly to moisturize

Since the weather is dry in autumn and winter, it is important to keep your hands moisturized. Indoor and outdoor environments, you should apply hand cream after washing your hands to protect the skin of your hands.

However, if your hands are going to come into contact with food, you don't need to apply hand cream for the time being. Because the ingredients in hand cream, such as glycerin, urea, etc., are inedible chemicals.
