Can isolation really isolate makeup?

Isolation cream has now become a must-have skin care product for everyone. We know that it can adjust skin tone, isolate dirty air, and resist radiation. Some isolation creams also have sun protection functions. Do you know that isolation can also isolate makeup?

Can isolation really isolate makeup?

Isolation cannot completely isolate makeup. Many advertisements for isolation creams claim that they can block ultraviolet rays, dirty air, makeup, and even computer radiation. In fact, these are all tricks used by brand manufacturers. Isolation creams cannot completely isolate the so-called dirty air and makeup, and it is impossible to form an isolation film on the face. Therefore, dirty air and makeup will inevitably fall on the face to some extent.

The main role of isolation

The main function of isolation is to improve skin condition, modify pores and correct skin tone. Many times, the skin becomes oily and makeup comes off, makeup sticks and doesn't adhere well, and there are more and more blackheads on the nose. In fact, this is all because of not using isolation properly. Isolation can improve the skin condition before makeup to a certain extent. For oily skin, choose oil-controlling isolation, which can control the oiliness of the skin and the resulting makeup removal to a certain extent, making the foundation more lasting; for dry skin, choose moisturizing isolation, which can make the skin more hydrated and reduce the phenomenon of makeup sticking.

Can isolation cream isolate computer radiation?

Sunblock cannot block computer radiation. First of all, most of the computer radiation is low-frequency radiation with a wavelength of about 6.5cm, while the radiation for sun protection and isolation is mainly aimed at UVA and UVB with a wavelength of 280-400nm. The two types of radiation are not in the same category at all, so how can they be blocked? Secondly, the negative electromagnetic compound amount of computer screen is lower than that of desk lamp, and there is no test to prove that it will have any adverse effects on the skin, so isolation cream cannot isolate computer radiation.

Can isolation replace sunscreen?

Isolation is not a substitute for sun protection. The world-recognized minimum SPF standard is 15, which is only an indication of protection against ultraviolet UVB. UVA is also very harmful, so protective ingredients such as titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, avobenzone, and mexorbin (Etzshu) need to be added to sunscreen products. Moreover, it needs to be reapplied multiple times to achieve the sun protection effect, so the ingredients in the isolation definitely cannot achieve the sun protection effect.
