Small molecules first, then large molecules

Whiten first and then moisturize. Whitening active ingredients are usually small molecules, which penetrate deep into the bottom layer of the skin to dilute melanin, while moisturizing ingredients are large molecules and are mostly absorbed only to the surface of the stratum corneum. To put it simply, any high-functional active ingredients (e.g. whitening, spot lightening, anti-wrinkle) should be applied before moisturizing.

Start with the most desired

If you are using multiple high-performance essences at the same time, start with the effect you want to achieve the most. You never know when your skin will become overfilled, so of course eat what you like first. If you want to apply more than two bottles of essence at a time, it is recommended to reduce the amount (taking one bottle and one drop as an example, take 1/2 drop from each of two bottles, 1/3 from three bottles, and so on) to ensure that the essence is absorbed without wasting it!

To cope with ever-changing situations, keep in mind one principle: use skin care products from thin to thick in terms of their texture. When you can't tell the difference, just look at the texture of the skin care products. Water-based ones should be used before cream-based ones, and oil-based ones are usually used last. Why should oily products be used later? Because oily skin care products will form a protective film on the surface of our skin to prevent moisture loss and block dirt. If you apply this kind of skin care products first, the lotions and essences with smaller molecules will also be blocked and will be difficult to be absorbed by the skin, let alone take effect.
