People who use their eyes frequently are more likely to develop styes, and the onset of this disease is relatively sudden. Once it occurs, it may cause unbearable pain, so it is important to do a good job of maintenance and prevention in advance. Next, I will introduce to you the reasons why some people often get styes.

Frequent causes of styes

Any disease has a root cause. As an eye disease, stye itself is caused by bacteria. When Staphylococcus aureus invades the eyelid glands, it will cause inflammation and suppuration. There will be obvious redness and swelling on the outside, and the patient will also feel obvious pain. However, everyone may be exposed to bacteria, but not everyone will develop a stye. So there are two conditions for getting this disease. One is not paying attention to eye hygiene, especially frequently rubbing the eyes with dirty hands. The other is low immunity. Many factors can cause a temporary decrease in a person's immunity, the most common reason being staying up late. When office workers work overtime for long hours or students stay up late playing games on their mobile phones, their immune systems will be damaged due to overdrawing their physical strength, giving bacteria an opportunity to take advantage.

Does a stye require heat?

Stye is a self-limiting disease, which means that the body's own immunity can fight bacteria, and the symptoms of redness, swelling and pain can subside on their own within two or three days. In the early stages of symptoms, hot compresses can be used to promote absorption, which can prevent further aggravation of redness and swelling and also reduce pain. In the late stage of the symptoms, that is, after pus has formed, the effect of hot compress is not obvious. At this time, you can wait for it to heal on its own, or you can have a doctor perform an incision to drain the pus.

The above is an introduction to the reasons why styes often appear. Although it is a common disease that can be effectively treated, this disease can be completely prevented if you can pay attention to your daily eye hygiene and stay up late less.
